I love the music, it really fits the game a lot. The game is pretty good, though I never made it past day one, I just couldn't figure out what each radio station was so I was very confused. Else then that, it seemed like a good game, maybe Im just too dumb to understand. I read hints too, though I just used common sense.

https://stale-meme.itch.io/cold/devlog/993868/cold-v12-is-out it had been a few months and when I came back to it after reading your comment, I saw right away that Day 1 doesn't provide enough info. I've adjusted the way Day 1 is presented to highlight a few more steps. If you happen to wander this way again, give it a shot and let me know if it helped.

I just figured this out myself, but the thing I was missing was that the letter on the bottom of the cabin on the map represented the letter on the map im supposed to go to. I thought that was pure decoration.

Edit:is the tree with the circle on it supposed to do anything, I tried space from every direction and nothing happened.

Yes, in challenge mode. Edit: the needles from the trees, the red xs on the ground, the tree knotholes, they're environmental cues. They matter a lot more in challenge mode when misreading the environment is a lot more punishing. But you can't count the needles under a tree and say "seventeen needles means this, eighteen means that" you just need to feel it out.
